Day one here in Houghton. A long but uneventful trip yesterday with 5 hours on a plane and then a 6+ hour drive that started about 8pm, but we pretended we were on Alaska time so we got in at around midnight. After sleeping in and getting checked in and settled we went out for a ski. 1.5 hours nice and easy with some speed to wake up the legs. Felt good but the best part was being on plenty of snow with classic tracks, kink of makes up for being in the Midwest...
Tour de Ski starts today, no Americans but it should be fun to watch.
